The Tectonic Totem: A Large-Scale Vertical Monolith | Sculpture

"The Tectonic Totem" is the most ambitious exploration of verticality in the Mr. Castle archive. Standing at an imposing 75 centimeters, this piece pushes the boundaries of the medium, moving away from desktop artifacts toward a commanding, floor-standing presence.

The sculpture is a study in "Fantasy Brutalism," utilizing a stacked, segmented logic that mimics ancient geological formations or a forgotten structural pillar. Every inch of its height is treated with a raw, industrial patina, emphasizing the labor and physical effort required to build at this scale.

While most of my work focuses on the "Pop" elements of design, this totem returns to the "Primitive"—asking the viewer to confront a large, silent object that feels both ancient and manufactured. It serves as a structural backbone for the Mr. Castle collection, proving that even at a large scale, the "Primitive Pop" philosophy maintains its grounding, geometric strength.
