Eye of the Hand: Brutalist Vision 02
The Eye of the Hand: Brutalist Vision 02 is the second piece in a conceptual series that explores the connection between human creation, structural logic, and innate intuition. This sculpture transforms the primal human tool—the hand—into a fragmented, geometric monolith.
The Conceptual Narrative
This work fuses the warmth of biological form with the cold precision of geometry. The surface is divided into bold, fractured planes of color, reminiscent of Cubism and Abstract Expressionism, suggesting a hidden, complex internal mechanism. The hand is not a single form, but a structure built from rough, deliberate blocks—a visual nod to your signature Brutalist aesthetic.
At the base of the palm, the prominent central eye symbolizes the "vision" that guides creation. It is the intuitive core that perceives patterns and possibility amidst the structured chaos of the world. This piece asks the collector to contemplate where creation truly begins: in the hand, the eye, or the underlying structure of consciousness.
