Column No. 4: Tectonic Brutalist Study | Sculpture
Column No. 4 is a foundational piece in the Mr. Castle "Architectural Series." It represents a departure from the organic and a deep dive into the rigid, uncompromising logic of Brutalist design.
This hand-sculpted monolith features four distinct vertical tiers, each weathered to mimic the heavy, atmospheric decay of exposed concrete. By stripping away all ornamentation, the sculpture forces the viewer to focus on the interplay of shadow and sharp-edged geometry.
It is designed as a "desktop monolith"—a grounding physical presence for a digital workspace. It serves as a reminder that even the most complex structures are built on a series of simple, powerful segments.
